Sensational young Artiste, Enock Oduro-Agyei popularly known as Trigmatic has emerged as the topmost nominee together with Cecelia Marfo, one of Ghana’s Gospel Music diva in the recently announced Ghana Music Awards (GMA) categories by Charter House Ghana. The Y FM Campus Express presenter has been named in seven different categories; the highest so far in this year’s edition.
Trigmatic is ticked to win awards in seven categories including; Hiplife/hip hop artiste of the year, Discovery of the year, Best Rapper of the year, Record of the year, Song writer of the year, Album of the year and Hip hop song of the year.
Being his maiden appearance in the nominations of the Ghana Music Awards, the talented musician loved by Ghanaians for his voice and referred to by many as ‘artiste of the moment’ hopes to sweep all the awards in the seven categories.
“I just thank God for his mercies and protection as well as all my lovely fans for appreciating my song”, he said.
Trigmatic who is also noted for his freestyle performances has an album to his credit – Permanent Stain which was released last year. The album has tracks such as My Life and the recently released single ‘Me fri Ghana’.
He has caught the attention of Ghanaians and the world at large with his great and inspirational voice and rapping style.
His track ‘my life’ was really embraced by his fans and fetched him much love from Ghanaians.
It simply talks about the up and down in life, the hardship and the disappointments of life
“I just looked back on how i use to seek help from people and how i was being treated as servant at that time” he said.
He has featured in many songs which was a hit and a good collaboration.
According to YFM’s Station Manager, Mr. George Brun “His nominations for seven different categories clearly testify the stuff he is made of; and what Y FM ultimately stands for is unearthing and nurturing talents for the world.
Y FM presenters are frontrunners in success story and are proud of Trigmatic.
