TM RAPPERS HIDE TO CLAIM SUPREMACY IN RAP

The music industry is becoming hotter and very challenging day in and day out as young talented Rappers and RnB artistes exhibit their talents through music especially rap music.
Every Rapper believes he or she is the best when it comes to rap music but it is up to listeners or music lovers to determine who the best is or what is determined as real rap music.
From the Eastern part of Ghana, comes a very noble young man with an intuition that rap music is poetry, its lyrics and rhythms tells a good rapper from a bad one and this has motivated him write a novel about rap music.
Francis Anane, a student at the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) popularly known as Ogyam in the music industry has Twi Rap as his priority although he does hip hop as well.
“I chose Ogyam as my showbiz name because I am an Akan so it’s just a tradition and I have twi rap as my priority”, he said.
The up and coming rapper, made known that he has been to places that testify to how good and great he will be when he finally comes out with an album.
The underground rapper who is also known as “Rap Gbee” (rap dog) which his friends gave him because he raps to every beat given to him at any point in time and also because he never loses rap battles and also because sees himself as a rap addict, he is okay when they started calling him that.
Ogyam is an unsigned artiste but comes from a camp called one (1) vision Entertainment and Truth Entertainment.
There are several mixtapes from a lot of rappers directed to the TM (Tema) squad or to the Accra squad and these mixtapes are either to reply to or send messages to either sides.
In an interview with Ogyam concerning his mixtape which seems to be directed at the TMs, he explained he just did that to put things in their rightful places.
“I have realized any rapper from TM seems to hide behind the hood to claim supremacy in rapping”, he added.
According to him, some of the TMs, were not happy with the mixtape so they have started daring him but he believes that his mixtape is just a lyrical beef not a personal stuff.
Ogyam will launch his album by the end of this year so Ghanaians should expect rap at its peak because rap started from the streets and he is taking it back to the streets and that’s why all his mixtapes are done on old school beats.
