OKYEAME KWAME IN YOUR ZONE!!!

In the next few weeks, your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper, Okyeame Kwame will hit the road on a nationwide tour in a zone near you.
The tour, which is dubbed “Ok in your Zone!!!” and powered by MTN, the nation’s giant telecommunication network, and organized by One Mic Entertainment, would have Okyeame Kwame enigmatically entertaining all who come to see him at all times with precision and giving people more reason to call him best.
The tour will cover three venues initially, namely, Sunyani on the 19th of November, Kumasi on the 27th of November and Takoradi on the 3rd of December which happens to be farmers’ day. Gradually, the tour will move to the other regions.
The “Ok in your zone!!!” tour will prominently feature the Mr. Versatility, Okyeame Kwame himself and presents other supporting artistes such as Bradez, Morris D’voice, Samini, Kwaku Gyasi, Richie, Kwabena Kwabena, Obuor, Iwan, OJ Blaq, Tattoo, Andy (Mentor), Lady Prempeh, Mimi, Bertha, Rose(Mentor), Eazzy, Funky Africans, Laxio, Ko-jo and THE PALMWINE MUSIC LEGEND, AGYA KOO NIMO (Dr. Amponsah).
The tour is however strongly driven by the desire of the Okyeame Kwame Foundation to raise more funds for the hepatitis B free screenings, awareness creation and education. These screenings which are termed the “Clinics” have been in existence for the past year and there is the hope to carry it nationwide to the deprived and underprivileged in the society.
So far, the Okyeame Kwame foundation has been responsible for free screenings, awareness creation and education to several communities in Ghana including, Ayigya, KNUST, Nkawkaw, Ayeduase, British council in Accra and Takoradi and with funds raised from this tour, the clinics would be extended to other places in the country.
Okyeame Kwame who recently graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a linguist believes that, health promotion is very necessary to entertainment in Ghana since his success as a musician would heavily depend on a healthy fan base.
Prominent among the reasons for this tour is the release of two hot singles by the Rap Doctor.
The 2009 GMA artiste of the year further in an interview urged all his admirers to massively support the “Ok in your Zone!!!” tour since it is aimed at creating wealth through health for the people of Ghana.
